Quality Manager – FMCG Manufacturing site
This is an excellent opportunity for a Quality Manager to join a very successful organisation right on the cusp of a massive growth plan. The business has had a few years of strong performance, and they are now looking for an experienced Quality Manager to join the team and over see the function.
It is a key role and is a member of the Management team. The role is responsible for taking full ownership over the quality functions day to day operation onsite as well as growing the function in tandem with the overall site growth.
Responsibilities
- Drive the quality function in its entirety for this manufacturing site using the resources at your disposal.
- Responsible for all food safety, quality processes, BRC and HACCP onsite
- Build the Quality team as necessary to meet required quality standards and develop the individuals on the team to ensure a strong Quality skill base onsite.
- Lead all audits onsite, both internal and customer audits
- Build a strong Quality mindset onsite with strong processes and systems to drive the function.
- Ensure that all suppliers are maintain the relevant quality standards.
- Develop and implement a strong Quality strategy for the site.
- Work with Customers where possible to ensure strong service levels.
- Maintain strong documentations where necessary.
- Work on internal and external audits where necessary.
- Drive the Food Safety onsite.
- Report on the Quality division performance.
Requirements
- Degree qualification in Food Quality or Food Sciences with relevant experience in a senior quality role within the Food manufacturing Industry
- Proven track record in leading the quality function.
- Previous team management experience is preferred but not essential. Experience at in a senior Quality role is essential.
- Strong HACCP knowledge.
